Hi, I've an iMac running OS X 10.6.8 and Parallals 7... trying to update to El Capitan or Sierra. Would love to move the current VM of Windows 7 to what ever version of Parallels (13?) runs on El Cap or Sierra. Is this possible to do from Parallels 7? If so, what steps are required? Again, was hoping to move the existing VM over. Thanks in advance.

Hi LewisO. Parallels Desktop 13 is compatible with Mac OS X El Capitan and Sierra. Please refer this article to transfer the existing virtual machine to a new Mac. Yes, definitely it should work without any issues.So, it looks like a Parallels VM under Parallels 7 will work with Parallels 13 without any changes? That's great! Thank you!
