Parallels tools 10 installation fail installing Yosemite into a VM

I have installed a Yosemite VM on Parallels 10 on my iMac OS X 10.10.
The VM run OK but I can' t install Parallels Tools.
The yellow icon on menu bar tell me that tools are not installed.
If I run manually the installation, a window tel me "... open Parallels tools CD on VM and double click on install".
If I click on install, a new window tell me "CD/DVD disc is mounted on guest internal OS...".
If I click on "disconnect..", no action is executed.

For information, I have also installed a 10.9 VM on mi iMac. In this case all run fine an Parallels Tools are automatically installed.

For all two VM I have dowloaded from AppleStore the installation file ( .app file tipe) and I have used it, in the same mode, for generate both VM.

I am not an expert, can I have some suggestions?
Thanks!

I had the same symptoms. But I found that in the guest VM, if I ejected the "OS X Base System" disk image, then Action > Install Parallels Tools would correctly mount the disk image with the tools.

Hi all,
To install Parallels Tools on Mac running as Guest Operating, please follow the steps given below :
1. Go Actions menu, select Configure and Hardware then click CD/DVD and Choose Image.
2. In the Open window please navigate to Applications folder, Open Parallels Desktop and Contents then Resources
3. Go to Tools folder inside Resources folder and then locate prl-tools-mac.iso file. Click on this file and then click Open button
4. Proceed with Parallels Tools installation starting Parallels Tools mounted on Finder in Virtual Machine and check how it works.

Hi ManojD,
with your instructions, Parallels Tools now are correctly installed .
Thanks a lot!
Yosemite now works fine, except the known slowness.
