Parallels Tools freezes all Autodesk Products

Hello everyone,

since days i'm trying to fix this problem -> as soon as parallels tools installs itself, all my autodesk products get freezed at the startup, at the point 'checking license'.
If i cancel/block the installation of parallels tools, everything is fine, except that i can't use the coherence modus or share my folders etc.
As long as i have no solution, i keep using parallels desktop without the tools, because i necessarily need the autodesk products. I'm using Parallels 7 with all new updates and I've done all Windows updates, too. My Mac OS is Lion.
Has anyone a solution for this? I would be very grateful.
Regards, Christian

Christian,

I've never heard of anything like that. What Autodesk products are you running?
To send us diagnostic information, install Parallels Tools again, make any Autodesk application hang and genertate a problem report via Parallels Help menu, post report ID here.

I´ve got the Problem at my job. At home I dont't have a Mac, so I can't post the ID before monday.
I'm using Autodesk Autocad Architecture 2012 and Revit 2012. Everything worked fine for weeks, but suddenly a couple of the Computer freezed the programs like I described. Maybe there is a new update for Parallels Tools? I tried to download an older version of Parallels Tools, but with no success. I also tried different solutions I found by google. There are some more people with a similar problem. I already did a system reset, installed backups from my timemachine, tried Parallels Desktop 6 - 7 with different versions. Reinstalled Windows with and without updates; nothing helped.
On monday I'm going to post you the report ID.
Thank you.

Having the same problem

Recently installed revit arch 2011 on windows 7 64bit using the parallel desktop. My mac is 16GB RAM, 750GB HDD. With AMD ati readon 6570M. I'm sure it should run revit. But everytime when loading a project, it crashes as in not responding. I tried to run the VM on 8GB ram, and upgrade the direct X, and microsoft visual C++. Revit 2011 still won't work.
