Parallels Tools Installation Agent Runs Repeatedly

Hi

I recently bought Parallels and copied over my existing Boot Camp installation which rund Windows 7 Professional.

Every time I boot it up in Parallels, the Parallels Tools Installation Agent runs. It seems to go through a normal update process; The Windows Installer runs, the Set Up Wizard runsm I get an "Install Succeeded" message and then a reboot happens.

However, upon rebooting the Parallels Tools Installation Agent starts the process again. This happens every time.

Currently, there is a "Parallels Tools are outdated, Wait for automatic upgrade to complete or upgrade manually" message in the window frame.

How do I get tools to update properly?

I believe I was able to figure out how to manually install Tools and that seems to have resolved the problem Not sure why it was happening in the first place.
