Parallels Tools keeps installing with every launch

Apologies if this has been previously addressed, but my searches were unfruitful.

Every time I launch (v 3.0, 4560) I am asked if I want to install Parallels Tools. I "successfully" go through the installation and relaunch Parallels as instructed. With that restart everything works okay.

However, the next time I relaunch Parallels, I am again asked if I want to install the Tools.

Any way to break this cycle?
