Parallels Tools Kills Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14926

Report ID: 164024923
Parallels Desktop Version 12.1.3 (41532)
MacOS Sierra Version 10.12.3 (16D32)
Windows 10 Pro Version 1703 Build 15055.0

Just tried installing the preview update 15063 and had the same issues. Looks like this is an ongoing issue that is yet to be resolved. When it boots I get a "System Thread Exception Not Handled". None of repair options help. If I do what was said above to restart in low resolution mode, it boots fine. I use Parallels to test new features and this is a bummer that it's still not working right.

We suggest you to try updating Parallels Desktop 12 to its latest build and check.

We suggest you to try enabling nested virtualization in Parallels Desktop 11 build and check. You can also refer to this thread.

Looks like the update may have solved that issue. I had just signed up for the yearly subscription to parallels so I assumed there were no new updates. Thanks!
We are glad to hear that! Feel free to reach us anytime for support.
