Parallels Tools never available in Taskbar System tray.

Whenever I start Parallels Desktop, the Parallels Tools icon is never visible in the system tray of the Taskbar. When I say never I really mean never. Every time I start my VM, Parallels tools is not available to be used.

And in Taskbar properties, I have set the properties for PT from "Hide when inactive", to "Always show".

I need PT, because I always have to disable the Mouse synchronization for trueSpace, otherwise I cannot control the program at all.

So each time I start PD, I have to go to Actions/Install Parallels Tools... to reinstall the tools, after which I have to restart the VM. I have to do this each and every time when I want to use my VM.

What can I do to prevent this from happening?

Hi,

Possibly something is wrong with Parallels tools iso image.

Try reinstalling Parallels or upgrading to latest build of parallels.

Can you please check that you didn't enabled undo disks as described in Parallels Desktop for Mac user guide from http://www.parallels.com/en/download/file/doc/Parallels_Desktop_for_Mac_User_Guide.pdf on page 153
