I have Parallels Tools installed with Windows XP and all is well except I cannot get the message "Parallels Tools setup disk (D:)" ejected from my CD/DVD drive in Windows. I ran into this problem quite some time ago and got it resolved but I cannot remember how to eject this "disk". I've tried searching for the above message by pasting it on the Support Forum but cannot find a result.

Hello,

if you want ti eject a disk you should right-click on your drive (D:). There you can find an option "Eject".

Best regards,
Stacey

Stacy, I tried right clicking and selecting "eject" and nothing happens. Having this in my "D:" drive precludes me from loading any other CD/DVD.

Hello,

Disconnect the Parallels Tools setup disk via Parallels - Devices menu. Choose the "Default CD/DVD".

Best regards,
John

CD/DVD drive returned to use

John, thanks - that fix worked. Now, I have another question. Why did that message capture my CD/DVD drive in the first place?
