Parallels tools won't install

Bit poster
I cannot complete the install of parallels tools. It hangs on the installation of the "resolution tool" component. I have tried to install it repeatedly and it stops each time at this point. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Attached is a screenshot of the error message.

Hello,

please attach the error message one more time using the 'Go Advanced' -> 'Manage Attachments' button.

Best regards,
Stacey

how's this?

This is a blowup of the actual message. If this doesn't work I can just transcribe what it says.

Hello,

please create a backup of "C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield" folder, remove the folder and try to install the software. Restore the folder from backup if you encounter any problems after that.
If it will not help please try to install Parallels Tools from the Safe mode (push F8 while loading the VM).
Then please provide me with a screenshot of the Windows 'Device Manager'.

Best regards,
Stacey

the first two options did not work. Here are two screen shots with everything expanded in the device manager. (There wasn't enough room for one shot)

Hello,

please try to use Custom installation of Parallels Tools and deselect the 'Video Driver' there.

Hello,

please tell me the resolution of your Guest OS before installing the Parallels Tools.
Also your two last screenshots are a bit small when you open them. Is there is a way you can provide me with bigger screenshots?

Best regards,
Stacey

Please start your VM in the Safe Mode, select Full Screen Mode and uninstall Parallels Tools there. If necessary use this article.
Then install Parallels Tools one more time.

Best regards,
Stacey
