You install parallel tools from within the application in OS X, - its in the VM menu item
Just to clarify,
I have purchased and installed Parallels and have had my XP guest OS up and running for about 3 weeks.
Was just wondering where the Parallels Tools software is...
The manual says it's in the "System Tray". I took that to mean XP's control pannels but couldn't see it anywhere - a search also revealed nothing so I assumed it needs to be installed afterwards.
