I am running Parallels 14, and would like to move a Win XP installation on a separate PC into Parallels as a VM. Supposedly, I can run Parallels Transporter Agent on the Win XP box, and get this done via network or a USB drive. However, when I run the Agent on Win XP, I get the following error.
"The procedure entry point GetUserPreferredUILanguages could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."
I did a bit of look around, and it seems the problem might be from the Qt library that is calling a function that is for Vista and above, not XP. Has anyone run into a similar problem? I would like to keep this WinXP installation for some legacy programs. I tried installing a new WinXP VM, but it seems the activation server at Microsoft is no longer available, so I cannot even install a fresh WinXP VM.
