Parallels Transporter Agent Failed on Windows XP

I get this error "The source computer cannot be transferred to a Parallels virtual machine. Do you want to transfer its volumes as Parallels virtual data disks? The source computer volumes can be transfered as data disks only, because the operating system Microsoft Windows XP cannot be configured to be bootable."
when trying to migrate onto external storage device on a Windows XP SP3 machine.
Please help
