    Hi,
We currently have one of our UX designers that uses Parallels Desktop for MAC and he is on version 9 (was purchased as an upgrade from version 7 back in 2013). As he had to upgrade to the latest OS, he needs to upgrade his version of Parallels to the latest one. The questions I have are:

    1. As it is used in a business (we only need it for this user) which version is applicable?
    2. Can the latest version be purchased as a one-off item, rather than the subscription, if the license allows for this?
    3. Does the installer work only as an upgrade, i.e. if the system had to be rebuilt, would we need to install Parallels 7, 9 and the new one? If this is the case, what would be the best option to purchase if we would like to have the installer file for the latest version without needing the older ones.

Hi PantelisP, You can purchase the upgrade version of Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac Standard Edition , as it is only for one user.

The Standard version of Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac is a one-time purchase and a lifetime product.
This software will work as an upgrade for Parallels Desktop 9. You can also purchase the full version of Parallels Desktop for Mac Standard Edition which will not require the previous version details.
