Parallels uses old video drivers

Expresii runs in boot camp, as Apple's drivers for a 2017 iMac meet Open GL 3.0 requirement, but the drivers with parallels are only Open GL 2.1, which is incompatible with the program. Tech support from Parallels could not fix this. When will video drivers be updated to match boot camp?
 
I have tested the program on this computer in Bootcamp, and it works. In Parallels, it generates driver errors and cannot save or export. VMware fusion has this same problem. Both crash Expresii. It would be good if Parallels and Fusion use the drivers that come with Bootcamp.
