Parallels v.14 with Win 10: Some Win Apps are not recognizing files in Ext HDD but some Win Apps do

Using Parallels v.14 with Win 10: Some Win Apps are not recognizing files in Ext HDD but some Win Apps do recognize those same files. Use another Ext HDD and all Win Apps recognizes all the files on that particular Ext HDD. All Ext HDD drives are formatted the same: Mac OS Extended (Journeled). Banging my head why this is not working. Appreciate any insights.

Hello, could you please share an example of file type?
