parallels ,vista and mac mini

I have been able to install Vista Home Premium in Parallels, with OSX as a host OS, but cannot get the driver for the NIC card on the Mac Mini. It shows up as driver missing. Anyone have this problem?
 
why do you need Vista?

most of us will wait a year before trying a new MS OS after the Windows ME / 2000 teething troubles

I would like to add to this thread, that I also want to use Vista on MacBook 2g 2 gh and the answer as to why is:: why should I buy an old version XP when there is a new OS out?

Does Vista any version work with Parallels?

It seems that there are lots of folks running Vista fine inside Parallels.

That said, the point of running a Windows VM, IMO, is to get maximum compatibility in both worlds. Currently, Windows XP SP2 is where this is at, not Vista. Running Vista inside VM does not seem as practical a solution, for this OS has bunch of compatibility issues even on a standalone PC box, not to mention it drains more resources than necessary to accomplish same things in XP.

Just because there's a flashy new OS out doesn't mean you have to run it inside your VM, or your PC, for that matter. That's just buying into Microsoft hype. You should run the oldest or leanest OS that can run the most apps you need. This is why I've stuck with Windows 2000 SP4 until a few months ago.
 
Well perhaps you are right, at least XP program will be so much cheaper than Vista, I don't need the flash, just want to be able to sync with Vista on my pc when I upgrade there. Thanks for the input.
