I installed Parallels 7 on my MBP and changed the default VM folder from ~/Documents/Parallels to just ~/Parallels. I noticed that Parallels created a hidden directory .parallels-vm-directory in my ~/Documents as well. After deleting it I noticed that Parallels re-created it. I did some googling and found this: http://kb.parallels.com/4733
It appears it used to be for keeping all symbolic links to configuration files of existing virtual machines. However it is completely empty now and does not seemed to be used. Is there a way to get Parallels to stop creating it or is it something that is just left over and has not been removed from Parallels yet?
Thanks for any input.
