Parallels Wizard is stuck in 'Collecting information' state

I am installing Windows 10 on a new installation of Parallels for Mac.
After repeated attempts, the Parallels Wizard never gets past the "collecting information" stage. The ball continues to spin, and spin, and spin.
I have searched forums for solutions, but no joy.
I did remove Parallels from my iMac and reinstalled it, but et the same results.
Please advise. Thank you.
 
Hi ValerieM, make sure Windows 10 ISO is completely downloaded. Try disabling Express Installation in Parallels Wizard and continue Windows installation manually. If you are trying to install Windows 10 via USB, have it a bootable stick. Please check out this article for more information.
