Parallels Word Pad is default for .docs

Hi,

I am at a clients office where he has recently purchased and installed Parallels on his Leopard iMac.

All was well but now it is opening by default in Coherence Mode AND all his MS Word Documents on the Mac side are opening by default with Wordpad, which launches Parallels unnecessarily.

I can't figure out how to get all his Mac to use Word as default or fix the Coherence issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. He is running Parallels 3.0 5582

Hello,

please in Mac right-click on any .doc file and select 'Get Info'. There under 'Open with' select the application you want to use to open .doc files and click 'Change All'.

I was doing it individually, that seems to have fixed it :D

Do I need to edit anything in the Virtual Machine under Shared Apps or should i leave that alone?

How do you right click?

Also attempting to change the default word processor from WordPad to Word when using a MacBook, and Parallels 3.0 5582. I see instructions on how to make the default change, but cannot figure out how to right click. Note, I previously tried to use a two-button mouse to do the same, it did not recognize the mouse. Thank you.
