ParallelsToolBoxAudio.driver and MacOS Catalina 10.15.6

    Hi
    I recently updated my macOS to Catalina 10.15.6.
    After the updates, it states that ParallelsToolBoxAudio.driver can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
    It states that the software needs to be updated.
    Is there anyone who can support this?
    I do have an on-going active subscription for Parallels ToolBox.

    Hello,

    try this:
    1. Remove /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/ParallelsToolboxAudio.driver
    2. Restart macOS
    It is enough to fix problem with 'malicious software' warning.

    If you need to record computer audio then:
    3. Open preferences for "Record Area" tool from Parallels Toolbox
    4. Choose 'Computer' value for 'Record audio from' option
    4. Tool will ask you to install audio plugin again
    5. Restart macOS

    I have tried to remove, restarted, and then installed the driver - and still i am facing the same problem - no sound during recording, and no sound on the recored meeting.

    Hello, I'm facing a similar issue. After selecting Computer in the recording options, restarting get the message about malicious software. Opening the recording preferences again prompts to restart again and the situation repeats itself.

    Toolbox Version 2.6.1 (1620)

    Maria, just installed the newest version and it seems that the behavior is fixed there. Is there a way to replicate that in my (older) version of the toolbox?
