    Hi. I only allocated 1.5GB memory for my VM. That was the max recommended based on my 4GB in the MAcbook Air for Version 7. in version 6, I ran it with 2GB. But 1.5Gb seems sufficient for me, since it pages to SSD, and it's fast.
