PD7 IE9 DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Shadow

Ever since I upgraded to PD7 I cannot get this example to work: http://samples.msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/samples/author/filter/Shadow.htm

Does anyone else have this problem running Parallels Desktop 7 and with IE9 as the browser? Perhaps a bug? A website I use uses this DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Shadow and was wondering what was happening. I narrowed it down to this.

More details: 2011 MacBook Air 13" i7 with Lion and Parallels Desktop 7 (Upgraded from 6) with Windows Home Premium x64. Windows Updates are all current.

Thanks for catching this. As a temporary workaround you can switch Windows desktop to Basic theme.

That's odd. I was told:

"Regarding the issue please be informed that, we checked the same in our test machines in the lab and did not come across any problem."

Support machine may have been running Basic theme. But thanks, I'll pass that to support for clarification.

What I did to solve the problem is uninstall ie9. Ie8 handles it fine.

The above IE9 issue is fixed in PD7 update, see http://kb.parallels.com/en/112281.
