PD8 Auto Snapshot error message

HI Folks,

Recently I backed up my VM to an external HDD. Now when ever the auto snapshot screen pops up to take a snapshot I get the following error message.

"Unable to complete the operation. The files needed to complete the operation could not be found"


Can anyone help me with a fix for this issue?
 
I'm having the same problem, jasdelta. With all three of my virtual machines!

Running as guests: Win 98SE, Win 7, and Win 8
On OS X 8.3

As you can see I've had this post here since Apr 22nd, and your the only one who has replied. So I don't think the Parallels team reads many of these posts. What I've done so far is to just use the take a snap shot function from the menu selections. I do this every two or three days and then go in and delete my old ones.a
