PDF User Guide Corrupted - 1884

FYI

When I try to open the Parallels User Guide in the Parallels-Desktop-1884-Mac.dmg file using Adobe Reader 7.0.8, I get:

There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired

Thought you might like to know.

Are you sure you're trying the one from this file:
http://download.parallels.com/RC/Parallels-Desktop-1884-Mac.dmg

Because:

a) .dmg files have a checksum, mine did not issue a checksum error after "Verifying..."
b) I get "File Error / Couldn't open the file" with Preview
c) after re-downloading the 1884 file _again_, I still get the same error messages from Adobe Reader and Preview

Plain and simple, there is some problem with the .PDF file in the download I linked above.

PS Just because I'm new on this forum does not mean I'm new to computers.

The one in the package download seems to be a stub - 4k. I downloaded the user guide from the Parallels web site - 3.9 meg.

Yes - I can confirm that PDF in 1884 build is corrupted. It will be fixed in upcoming update. For now you can download correct help from website - http://www.parallels.com/en/download/desktop/ . We apologize for inconvience.
