Permissions on 2X Client Folder

Greetings,

What permissions must a user have in order to run the 2X Client(10.0.1066)? Any information related to this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

to run the user doesn't needs specific right as being an admin for instance, however to install/upgrade the 2xClient admin rights are needed.

Just to clarify - to run 2X with a regular(non-administrative) user account the only permissions necessary are:

  • Read & execute
  • List folder contents
  • Read

Any user can deploy the 2X Client if installed on the machine.
If the user does not have administrator right some features will be disabled (e.g. you cannot switch ON or OFF the SingleSignOn)
