I have an iMac running OSX 10.12.6 Sierra and Parallels 10.4.0 (29337) to run a Windows 7 Pro VM. The iMax has a 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM. Parallels (or the VM, I am not sure which) is allocated 2 CPUs and 4GB RAM.

From time to time the iMac grinds to a halt and it's due to excessively high CPU usage by Windows 7.

Can anybody suggest how best to troubleshoot this situation or is there are configuration that best suits my setup that I could refer to?

    Many thanks

    David

Hi @InfoLogic , Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac is not compatible with Mac Os Sierra. Please purchase the full version of Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac which is compatible to work with Mac OS Sierra.
