    Hi all,
Currently having an issue using our new M1 iMac as a POS device with a Windows-based POS software. We're able to get the receipt printer to work by keeping it connected to the Mac and using the redirected printer.
However, we're unable to get cash drawer functions to work. I assume we'll need to connect the printer directly to the Windows VM but I cannot find a single receipt printer that has an ARM driver that works. I've tried an Epson TM-T88V and a Star TCP143 series. The drivers just aren't made for ARM64 and I can't seem to find any way that I can have a Windows driver work.
Has anyone had any luck using a common receipt printer either by installing directly to the VM or getting cash drawer functionality to work through printer virtualization and keeping it on the Mac?

    Thanks.

In case it wasn't clear, the printer prints receipts, but the cash drawer that hooks up directly to the printer and opens when a transaction is run won't work, presumably because it requires the driver in the Windows VM to send the command to the printer.

Hi, I have the same issue like you, the printer driver just cannot install on Windows 11 ARM, shared printer via MAC can print but the cash drawer open command is on windows driver itself, did you have any luck to find the solution?

Hello, I'm having this issue as well. Does anyone have new information on this and how to resolve?
