Possible to change the policy of disk cache?

I have a project that requires a lot of disk read/write operations within the guest OS (currently Windows 11). The VM is placed on a Thunderbolt-connected Optane DC RAID array. I noticed that PD's write-back disk cache policy tends to absorb write operations and flush when the cache is full. When the system flushes the cache, the guest OS will significantly slow down until the flushing operation is complete, preventing the guest OS from receiving inputs occasionally.

Years ago, the old PD had an option to enable/disable the macOS disk cache usage. I know that feature was provided for a different reason, but this kind of setting may be helpful to avoid stuttering due to the write cache flushing.

Are there any options to change the disk cache behavior in the current PD?

The host system is a MacBook Pro with M4 Max and 128GB unified memory. The guest OS is set to have 32GB.
