    Hi There,

I'm trying to essentially mount a network location as a block-storage device to a Windows Server 2012 Standard VM. Is it possible to do this? I know how to Map a drive just fine, but that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a method to mount a network location as local drive. I've been doing some research online about it, and I've discovered iSCSI is one option, but wasn't sure if that was possible with VMs?

    Any tips?

    Hi
If your network environment allows Virtual Machine to run in "Bridged Networking" mode, there is no big difference between real hardware computer and VM. So, I believe that question mostly relates to problems other then Virtualization
