Is there any way to set the video memory for a guest linux server above 256mb?

I get an error from gnome that I need more memory. 256mb is super low. Does this mean I would have to go to the "extreme edition"?

What version of Parallels are you running? With Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac I can set up to 1GB video memory.

I too was wondering whether there was a way by which we could set the video memory above 256 MB for a guest linux server. Has anyone tried using smtp server ? Although, I recently upgraded my memory lately, I was wondering why I got the error from Gnome. Anyway, it seems Parallels 7 needs at least 1 GB of Physical memory.
