Yes, I am aware that you can INDIVIDUALLY set a file such that it will not automatically start Parallels/Windows - but the problem is that I must select, find, and adjust, EVERY POSSIBLE FILE that automatically opens Windows. It is not realistic to force the user to search for EVERY SINGLE FILE THAT STARTS WINDOWS - because I DON'T KNOW WHAT FILES WILL START WINDOWS UNTIL I ACCIDENTALLY DOUBLE CLICK ON SUCH A FILE. YES I know you see two flippin' parallel lines - BUT THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH BECAUSE IT KEEPS HAPPENING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Is there a damn setting somewhere that PREVENTS ANY FILE FROM AUTOMATICALLY STARTING WINDOWS???!!!

I'm using a 2015 MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey 12.7.6
I'm using Parallels Desktop 17.5.1 (I have to use this version to run older Windows program - otherwise I would have upgraded).
