Printer driver problem

Does it matter that Windows keeps installing my HP 830c printer when it should be HP Color LaserJet 8500 PS? My printer doesn't want to print even after following the instructions. It'll print a test page but thats about it. I use Parallels 4 with XP on a new iMac.
