Printer Installation

Do I have to install a printer through windows or can I use the printer already installed for my Mac? I tried to install the printer through windows but kept getting an installation error. It's an HP4385 printer.

Okay, after some research I found that you can install Bonjour for windows and share the Mac OS printer. I tried this and I'm having an issue. I have enabled printer sharing in the System Preferences. When I run Bonjour Printer Wizard in my Windows VM, the printer initially shows up, but after about 5 seconds it disappears. The printer that I'm using is a network wireless printer, so it is not physically connected to my Mac. Any ideas of how to make this work?

If it is network printer, use Windows in Bridged Ethernet, and add printer as TCP/Ip
Another way is to recognize printer in Mac OS and set Shared Printer as described Parallels Desktop for Mac user guide from http://www.parallels.com/en/download/file/doc/Parallels_Desktop_for_Mac_User_Guide.pdf on page 135

Thanks for the response. I changed the network connection on the VM to bridged ethernet and that did the trick!
