Printer Port

I am using Parallels Desktop 10 on my Mac laptop OS X Yosemite.


I have Windows XP install on my Parallels Desktop 10.

I have a Brother HL-2270DW series Printer connect to my Mac laptop OS X Yosemite.


Is there a way to default the "Port" Print to PDF (Mac Desktop).

Each time I log off the VM and log back online, the printer port change back to the Brother HL-2270DW. I like to always print my files as PDFs. Sometimes I forget to change the port and my files print straight to the printer.

You will be able to manage your external devices(including printers) connected to the Windows. This will allow you to re-connect the printers to the Windows even after restarting.

Hi, the default printer is used when you click Print on the File menu of many Windows-based programs.
1.Open Printers and Faxes
2.Right-click the printer you want to use as the default printer, and then click Set as Default Printer.
A check mark appears next to the printer icon in Printers and Faxes.
Note: To open Printers and Faxes, click Start, click Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Printers and Faxes.
