Printer Redirect

    Hello, I am running into an issue with Printer redirect with Version 15.5.
    Most systems are running and printing fine, but a few. It seems that it has been tracked down to printer redirect. The computers that we do not have issues with, are showing that the printers are connected "by Parallels" and print within seconds (under Devices and printers). However, we have a select few computers when connecting showing both (redirected) and "by Parallels" under Devises and printers (so it is doubling the amount of printers). These computers take a minute or 2 to print.
    I don't understand why some are getting this but other are not. These settings are looked down and the end user can not change them?
    Does anyone have any insight?

    Can you try to disable MS printer redirection? (e.g. via gpedit ("computer configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Printer Redirection" : "Do not allow client printer redirection"))

    If this solves your problem, then the computers with this issue have incorrect printing settings. It maybe worthwhile to re-check the Parallels Client's settings ("Connection properties > Printing > Techonology" to use only RAS technology) or push a (new) client policy to those clients.
