I've been running parallels for about three months with no problems. Today, upon booting up OS X (before opening parallels) I got this message: http://cl.ly/5XOB

When I click "ignore" the message reappears in ~10 seconds. The same thing happens when I click "reopen".

I have tried opening parallels, but that doesn't solve it. However, when I open paralells, I do keep getting this message: http://cl.ly/5XV5.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this?

In case it's helpful, I'm pasting below the first part of the details that are shown when I click "report" in the error message (it's too long to paste the whole thing):

The dialog on the screenshot (titled "Problem Report for Parallels Desktop") suggests to send a problem report. Please send it and post here its id

    What about possible solution:

    Please perform the following instructions:

start /Application/Utilities/Terminal and execute the next four commands:

    mkdir -p tmp /hit Return/

    cp "/Library/Parallels/Parallels Service.app/Contents/PlugIns/Parallels NAPT Service.app/Contents/MacOS/prl_naptd" ~/tmp/prl_naptd_orig /hit Return/

    ditto --arch i386 "/Library/Parallels/Parallels Service.app/Contents/PlugIns/Parallels NAPT Service.app/Contents/MacOS/prl_naptd" ~/tmp /hit Return/

    sudo cp ~/tmp/prl_naptd "/Library/Parallels/Parallels Service.app/Contents/PlugIns/Parallels NAPT Service.app/Contents/MacOS/prl_naptd" /hit Return/

enter password after the last command (please note you will not see it on typing)

Please check whether it helps or not.
In case the issue persists please send one more problem report and post here its Problem ID.

I had a similar issue going from the first or second version of Parallels 5 to 6...I had to reinstall the Parallels 5 latest and then upgrade to 6.

I was getting prl_naptd errors on boot up and they kept repeating...application was launchd.
