prlcp seg faults in start_tread()

MBP running System Version: OS X 10.11.1 (15B42)
Parallels version Version 11.0.2 (31348)
recent install of ubuntu 14.04.03 LTS
Getting a crash occasionally in the parallels cllpboard app.

Ubuntu message box does not allow me to copy so I'll transfer the relevant bits by hand:
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/prlcp
Title: prlcp crashed with SIGSEGV in start_thread()
ApportVersion: 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.18
Architecture: amd64

Any advise of corrective action I should take?
