I'm having issues accessing files in Windows XP (guest) through any software on mac OS X (10.10.5).
As an example, when I first launch Photoshop it asks where to access files so it doesn't create any trouble. Second time I try accessing files, it remembers the files were accessed in the windows XP VM so it tries to go there directly. Problem is, it seems to have problem accessing again the distant folder and it waits for it for easily 15 minutes. This is the same problem with safari trying to access files in the VM.
Is there a parameter somewhere to fix this. I guess it would be possible to keep some kind of link between the machines to get the access easily. I believe there is something that could be done somewhere otherwise the point of using vital machines in the first place seems less of interest.
