Problem Installing XP Guest OS

I'm in the process of trying out Parallels with an XP host. I've installed a couple of guest OSes (Ubuntu 7.10 and Solaris 10) and am making it the the "easy" one to install - XP SP2.

I start the installation fine, go through the partitioning of my drive, but during install I keep getting messages saying my host drive is full. Of course this isn't the case, I have 400 GB free. Does anyone have a clue as to what's going on?

Seems my problem was trying to write this stuff to an external hard drive. When I did the install to an internal drive it worked fine.
