Problem restoring from time machine

Hello,
My MacBook Pro locked up when using windows and the progress bar stalled when restarting.
I went through the normal recovery disk repair et cetera to know avail.
I had recently backed up the Mac just two days ago so I decided to restore from this Time Machine backup.
The back up went well and the Mac restored but I got a message saying reinstall Parallels which I did then I was instructed to reinstall windows which I did.
Unfortunately on the Windows side everything has been lost.
I am reinstalling from the Time Machine backup again but can you advise me what to do if I get the message to reinstall parallels and Windows 10 once again.
I just can't afford to lose all my emails et cetera

Hi @ColinJ2 , reinstalling Parallels Desktop for Mac will not make any changes to your Windows virtual machine. However, can you please take a short video clip of what you did exactly , so that we can check and assist you further.
