Problem with mounting an ext3 USB drive

Hi,

Trying to mount the ext3 formatted USB drive in Ubuntu 12.0.4 VM but after connecting the USB drive, P8 and Ubuntu VM freeze. A USB connection is set to directly to Ubuntu VM. Any help will be appreciated.

Same problem here on a MacBook Pro after updating my 8.0 to version 18608. Ubuntu and USB3 drives used to work perfect, but after the Parallels update, Ubuntu locks up when I plug in my USB3 drive.
