    Hello,
I have a MS Access 97 application I wish to share; I have Win 2003 SBS and a few XP and Vista Clients.
When I launch the application from a client using the 2X 7.3 client, on the client screen appear the Ms Access window and the Ms Access pop-up window that asks for username and password.
Problem is that I can't find a way to enter data into the Access login window or to use the mouse within it.
I had no problems publishing other applications, i.e. notepad.

    Any help will be appreciated.

If I connect to the server with the standard Remote Desktop Client I can run this Access application with no problems.

Sure. The server is running Win2003 SBS sp2, 2X Application Server is version 7.1, Microsoft Access is version 97.
The client is running Vista with 2x client 7.3 beta.

    It's just MS Access 97 SP2.

I'll try to clarify the issue. When you start MS Access 97 you get two windows on the screen:

    - ther first is the Access splash screen
    [IMG]

    - the second is a form that asks your user name and password.
Please note that MS Access displays this window only if you have specified a password for the administrator user.

The problem is that when I publish Ms Access 97 with 2xAppl.Serv. these two windows appears on the client desktop but it is impossible to set the focus on the second window in order to type in the username or to just click the ok button. I can select the window and move it within the client desktop but just can't write inside it.

I tried to replicate your issue and I had no problems with ms MS Access 07 unfortunately I don't have a copy of MS Access 97,try to upgrade to a later version and check if it works but before you upgrade try to use a different keyboard.
