problems installing xp pro

I just downloaded and installed parallels 3.0 on my macbook pro and I go to install XP pro and it just shuts down in the middle of the install and goes to the parallels desktop. am I doing something wrong with the install? has anyone else had this problem? I'd hate to have wasted my money on a program that doesn't work! I tried the search but the system says that I'm too new to use this feature.

This is odd. Not sure why you cannot search when you are logged in, but try going to the Parallels Forum Web page without logging in. You should be able to search with no problem. (I just tried it.)
