Problems with Coherence, Mouse & Drag & Drop under parallels 4.0

Well,
I suppose it is clear that plug and play service is not working, as once rebooted Windows should detect mouse, unless it is corrupted,
I suppose you need to perform Windows repair for now,
Please backup your Virtual Machine first

I have the same problems as above. coherence doesn't work, and the mouse is trapped inside the VM.

I tried the above suggestions, I tried removing and reinstalling the tools several times but no success. Is there a new solution?

I upgraded from 3.0 and using Leopard 10.5.6

Coherence problem

Upgraded from 3.x to 4.0, and can't get coherence to work anymore. Tried removing and reinstalling Parallels tools, now the guest/host OS cursor works when I leave the window, but coherence is still broken.

The thing I'm not certain of, is that in Control Panels, I have two parallel tools entry. The second one is removable, but the first isn't, with the following error:

Note in the screenshot the second entry was just reinstalled, but it will uninstall just fine. First one though, I keep seeing the "Virutal Machine" message.

Oh, and for the life of me I can't find the place to enter a ticket on Parallels. It makes me go thru the gauntlet of KB and stuff with no end in sight.
 
Anti-virus is on both systems (Win and mac), but same behavior with all, either or none activated.
so no effect from anti-virus.

Always the same behavior :
drag and drop takes a huge amount of time (> 2 min) to complete

On the same line
opening Mac disk on the win desktop takes huge time (> 3 min)
saving a file attached to an email from win directly into Mac takes huge time

Everything else is working ok
Latest PD4 build and Mac OS X 10.5.6
 
I cannot use my mouse outside the Desktop 4.0 window. I cannot install Parallels Tools because that option is greyed out. I can do nothing in Windows because when my virtual machine opens up, the start button is off the screen and the mouse malfunction will not permit me to scroll down to get at the bottom part of the Windows screen. So I cannot de-install/reinstall Parallels Tools Windows. My virtual machine which was previously working fine is now unusable. It has all my work on it.
