Problems with Epson WF-3520 printer drivers Win 10

Hi,

I have tried to find solutions for my problems with other threads and it still doesn't seem to work. I cannot get the full printer options in windows and the driver by default is installed as HP color laserjet 2820 AiO Class Driver which if I change to the epson drivers under the advanced tab in the printer properties it gives me an error. I have tried installing with Bonjour for windows and I cannot find the correct driver in the list for the printer either.

I have even tried installing the epson drivers directly into windows from the epson site and it still doesn't work.

Please help as its very frustrating!
  • I am running Yosemite 10.10.4 (14E46) with Windows 10 with Parallels 11.0.0 (31193)
  • I have shared the printers on the network under system preferences in the mac side

Then into printer properties:

Change driver settings to epson.png

If I use these printer drivers I am stuck with a very limited printer preferences and cannot control my printer properly - although I can print.

When I change to Epson drivers it gives me the following error:

When I use the bonjour printer installation I cannot find or install the correct printer drivers

Try to delete your printer(s) under Windows and then add new printer.
It should take your new Epson driver you have downloaded in (Windows I guess) and then work.
I got the same problem upgrading a Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 under Plain Windows PC.
 
I have tried this and when searching for the printer on the network there is no printer found, yet it is visible on the mac side. Also when I run the printer install wizard with the OEM software for the printer it cannot find the printer on the network

i've found your tread, then i've the same problem with an epson wf 7720. Today a'am helpless, i want to print A3 and use the other functions of the original Epson driver, but i can't. Do you have found a solution for install the original Epson Driver in the windows system with finding the epson printer hardware in the network ?
 
Easy Steps to Download and Install Epson Printer Driver in Mac OS X
  • Download and install Epson Connect Printer Setup Utility
  • Agree to the License Agreement
  • Click on next and then click on install
  • Select your product and click on next
  • Select Printer Registration, click on next and select agree
  • When you see the Register a printer to Epson connect message click ok
  • Click on close
  • Activate the scan to a cloud and remote print services
