I have a MacBook Pro, OS X 10.6.6 with all current OS updates. I'm running Parallels 5.0 (build 5.0.9344), with Windows XP installed. I use this configuration exclusively for my Quicken files. I'm currently using Quicken 2008, which is scheduled to be sunsetted by Intuit in April. I recently purchased Quicken Premier 2011. I began the installation process, by inserting the disc into my CD/DVD tray. My Mac Finder mounted the disc, and Parallels/WinXP sees the disc as the W:\ drive (Quicken 210 on .psf). I double-click the install.exe on the root of the disc and I just get the error message - "Quicken install launcher was unable to open W:\disk1\setup.exe" So, I'm not sure if my issue is with Parallels, with however the disc contents/mount point is being used, or if my issue is with Intuit and the media itself that I purchased. I'll start here first, and move to the Intuit forums if needed.
