problems with usb1 - 2

I have Parallels 4 with win xp on my 10.5.7 MacOS.
I tried to connect at the same time:
a usb2 printer (Samsung ML-2240)
a usb harware smartkey
a usb-to-serial Bridge (Prolific)
I never succeeded: every time thai i try to connect the third one, Parallels said he cannot, because there aren't usb virtual ports avalaible.
Could anyone help me?

A quick update: I have upgraded Parallels to the last version, and now I have the complete checked list of usb devices in the menu Devices, but the last one, now the serial bridge, but sometimes the others, is non active in the hardware window of WinXP (it doesn't even appear).

There is currently a limit of 2 USB 1.1 devices and (if I do correctly remember) 8 USB 2.0 devices.
The only thing you can do is to activate/deactivate unused devices manually.

I hope Parallels will fix this soon, because many of my customers ran into this in the past. I had to migrate some of them to another VM solution because of this.

Klickt on the black Apple in the top left corner and choose "About this Mac", then "More". Under Hardware/USB you'll get a complete listing of all connected USB devices. USB2.0 devices should be connected to the USB Hi Speed Bus. If not, they run in USB 1.1 mode.

Once I had some USB2.0 Maxtor Onetouch drive which was recogniced in 1.1. mode from time to time. This was not an Parallels issue, but some problem with the drive's firmware. Since the same USB chipsets are used in many devices, this might be the problem with some printer or scanner too. The end user won't notice this, but in this case it's a knock out due to Parallel's builtin limit.
