Programs in Windows Always Freeze

A few days ago whenever I try to open a program in the windows vm it just crashes and gives me a not responding message. It was working fine for a few months then all of a sudden everything keeps crashing. Do I need to reinstall parallels or is there an easier fix?

Could you please let us know the version of Parallels Desktop and the version of Windows Virtual Machine you have installed on Parallels Desktop for Mac.
Is there any Error message ? provide us a screenshot if you have ?
 
I'm using a 13 in Macbook Pro with Yosemite 10.10.1 and Parallels 9, build 9.0.24172.
The only message it gives me is "___ is not responding" and options to close or find the problem. If I click to find solution it just closes that program.

Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac build 9.0.24172 is not the latest build, please follow the steps suggested below:
1. Uninstall Parallels Desktop 9 using PD uninstaller as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/116992
2. Download latest build ( 24251) from: www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd9 ( http://kb.parallels.com/111603 )
3. Install it as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/116989 (Note: un installing and re installing Parallels Desktop will not effect your Virtual Machine)
4. Install Parallels Tools manually as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/en/112609 and check if the issue still persisting.
