PS5 BT Controller under Win11 Parallels Desktop MacBook Air M1

Hello all,

I have the following problem.

Initial situation Parallels Desktop with Win 11 on an Air M1.
The first time I tried to pair the PS5 controller in Win11 I got a Mac OS message.

"To connect the device click connect to complete the Connection".
I selected the Connect button.
This unfortunately resulted in macOS showing me the controller as paired and in Win11 as well. However, so the controller works only in Mac OS not in Win11.

Later I read these instructions
https://kb.parallels.com/124771

Here it is strongly recommended not to click on Connect but on Ignore. The problem - the message came only once. On further attempts the message from macOS stopped coming and it does "connect" in the background every time instead of showing me the message box so I can click ignore.

Do you know how I can change this afterwards?

You don't get the message because the controller is already paired with macOS. Go to the Bluetooth settings in macOS and remove the device. That unpairs it from macOS and you should get the message when you try to connect the controller again.

I have already tried the following - without success.

- Known BT device set to inactive. Reconnected.
- Already paired BT device manually removed in BT settings and paired again. In doing so, the required message box that I am supposed to click "ignore" does not come up though.
- Paired a second PS5 controller in the hope that this device now comes the required message box. Happens but also not. :(
