Purchasing Requirements

Hello,

I am planning on purchasing Parallels for my girlfriend who recently received a MacBook Pro. She does a lot of .net programming and I would like to help her migrate all her work to the MacBook Pro. I am just a bit confused about purchasing Windows. Would she still require a new copy of Windows even though she has a laptop with Windows installed? Basically, can I transfer all her Windows files, including the operating system over to the new mac?

OEM licenses of windows (those that come pre-installed on a laptop) are tied to that computer. to copy the OS to another computer / virtual machine would be a violation of the EULA.
